Candle Care Guide
Proper candle care ensures a clean, long-lasting burn while maintaining safety and fragrance quality.
Follow these essential tips:
- Trim the Wick – Your candle arrives pre-trimmed. Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ inch to prevent excessive smoke and soot.
- First Burn Matters – Let it burn 3-4 hours until the wax to melt evenly across the surface and let the pool of wax reach the edge of the vessel to prevent tunneling.
- Burn Time – Limit each session to 4 hours to avoid wick extensive mushrooming and carbon buildup.
- Stable & Draft-Free – Set your candle on a stable, fire-resistant surface and keep it away from drafts. Breeze can lead to uneven burn, excess smoke, and occasional soot buildup.
- Extinguish Safely – Use a snuffer or wick dipper instead of blowing out the flame to reduce smoke.
- Stop Burn – Discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains to prevent overheating the container.
- Due to the nature of 100% natural wax, a light film may form on the glass after burning; wipe clean if needed.
- Safety - Never leave a candle unattended or within reach of children or pets

Aroma Components – Some fragrance oils, like citrus, vanillin, and cinnamon, may cause slight discoloration inside the vessel—this is natural.
By following these guidelines, you’ll enjoy a safe, clean, and beautifully scented candle experience.
